Skin Custody and Settlement Index
A skin can become bot inventory, a nominal balance, a marketplace listing or a game target. This index records what official sources actually say about that transition—and leaves undocumented replacement stock, timing and outcomes unresolved.
What the evidence shows
Marketplaces generally publish clearer settlement and fee language, while gambling platforms more often describe deposits, internal balance and withdrawal rules separately. None of the reviewed documents proves a live trade, exact replacement inventory or successful withdrawal.
Worked example · hypothetical inputs
A 10% deposit spread can hide a 20% cash loss
A skin listed at 100 community units is worth 80 in cash and receives 90 site credits. A withdrawal costing 45 credits returns an item worth 32 in cash.
Deposit spread: 1 − 90 ÷ 100 = 10%. At the same withdrawal rate, 90 credits return 64 cash units: 80% retained, or 20 lost per 100 starting cash units. This assumes all credit can be redeemed at the quoted rate, with no extra fees.

Method and limitations
Rows use current official terms, help, cashier and fairness sources already held in the evidence file. “Documented” means the source set covers the listed flow; it is not a fairness certification or transaction test. “Partial” marks a missing conversion, inventory or access detail. A failed or missing public statement is never replaced with an inference.
