Worked example · hypothetical inputs
The same upgrade can have two return figures
Risk 10 credits for a target worth 20 credits at a displayed 45% chance. Implied credit return is 0.45 × 20 ÷ 10 = 90%. If the source is worth 8 in cash and the target 14, cash-equivalent return is 78.75%.
A verifier and a quoted win chance cannot establish target stock, successful settlement or the external cash price. Confirm both value bases before comparing quotes.

Economics to calculate
A simple fair-value chance begins with source value divided by target value. A site can apply an edge, liability cap, valuation spread or settlement multiplier before displaying the final chance. Without the exact formula and values, the effective RTP cannot be reproduced from the animation alone.
What a verifier cannot prove
Seed verification can reproduce the roll when the algorithm and inputs are published. It does not independently verify the source quote, target quote, inventory state or withdrawal value used in the chance calculation.
Custody and settlement
Confirm whether source skins are transferred before play, whether target items are exact or balance-based, whether a failed trade can be reversed, and how unavailable target inventory is resolved.
Evidence boundary

Start with the source-to-target value ratio, then account for the published edge and any liability or settlement adjustments. If those inputs are absent, the displayed chance cannot be independently reconstructed.
Is a higher displayed chance always better?
No. The site may use different source and target valuations. Compare the quote against external cash values before comparing percentages.
Does an upgrader verifier check item prices?
Usually it checks the random roll. Price quotes and inventory require their own timestamped evidence.
