Source standards
Search-eligible profiles require at least three distinct official-source records, dated observations and coverage of operator, verification, withdrawal and country-access rules.
Accepted official evidence
- Operator terms, cashier, fairness and restriction pages
- Regulator registers and enforcement notices
- Official support pages with a retained observation and source URL
Claims and missing evidence
An operator's licence claim remains labelled operator-claimed until a matching regulator record is retained. A not-found licence status or unresolved country allowlist can appear in a review; inclusion is not verification of legality or access. Marketplaces and reward services use category-specific licence criteria.

- Search snippets, forum rumours and copied reviews do not replace primary sources
- A licence logo alone is not a regulator-register match
What the publication gate checks
The code checks source URL uniqueness, observation dates within 90 days, record-hash format, supported fields, profile completeness and category-specific licence status. Localized reviews also need recorded evidence equivalence; translated interface labels alone do not qualify.
These checks validate retained records, not the live operator on every visit. A record hash may represent the stored observation rather than an archived page. It is not proof of a transaction, and a parser configuration is not proof of a successful live fetch. Copy edits do not renew observation dates.
