CS2 Coinflip Sites: Edge, Fairness & Skin Settlement
Coinflip is easy to describe and easy to compare badly. The useful record is the fee or edge, how the winner is derived from committed inputs, how skins are valued, and whether the winner receives items or site balance.
Updated : added narrow official-source observations for Clash settlement and upgrader documentation, and CSGOEmpire's published coinflip fee. No operator transaction tests were added.
Evidence-led answer
CSGOEmpire publishes a 0.5% coinflip fee in its official FAQ. That is a documented fee, not an independently reproduced cash-equivalent RTP: the fee base, item prices and settlement still matter. Other operators are not added without matching CS2 mode sources.

- Published mode economics
- CSGOEmpire's FAQ publishes a 0.5% coinflip fee. The FAQ statement alone does not establish its calculation base or a cash-equivalent RTP, so no 99.5% return is inferred here.
- Custody and settlement scope
- The FAQ describes P2P skin transfers: the seller sends the item to the buyer, and the seller's balance is credited after the platform detects the trade.
- What remains unresolved
- This describes the platform's published trading workflow, not proof that a coinflip prize is delivered as an exact skin. Prices, live inventory and transaction performance were not tested.
- Dated mode sources

Economics to calculate
A fair two-sided outcome can still charge a fee through the prize pool or item valuation. Compare the amount each side contributes with the value the winner can actually withdraw. Promotional coins and nominal skin prices can make a displayed fee different from cash-equivalent loss.
What a verifier cannot prove
A completed-round verifier should expose the committed server value, client or player inputs, ordering rule and final selection. It does not prove equal item valuation, collusion controls, successful settlement or continued source availability.
Custody and settlement
Coinflip pools can settle in exact items, replacement inventory or site balance. The terms should explain unavailable items, valuation disputes, trade failures, KYC holds and reversal conditions.
Evidence boundary
The directory uses published profile game lists and current official-source coverage. It is not a personal-use, deposit, wager, KYC or withdrawal test. “Not publicly verified” means this release does not hold the evidence needed to make the claim; it is not an allegation about the operator. Mode-source hashes identify the URL, observation date and normalized research note, not an archived copy of the remote page.
CS2 coinflip questions
Is CS2 coinflip always a 50% chance?
Not necessarily. Item values, pool weighting, multiple participants, fees and game rules can change the effective chance and expected return.
What is the coinflip house edge?
Use a current mode-specific official rule or calculate it from the documented pool fee. This page does not promote an unverified repeated figure as fact.
Can a verifier prove the skins were paid?
No. Game selection and asset settlement are separate systems and need separate evidence.
