Skin upgrader math across Rust and CS2
An upgrader exchanges a certain source value for a chance at a higher target value. The animation does not determine the economics: the displayed chance, the source and target valuation basis, the operator formula and the settlement route do.
Short answer
If source and target prices use the same honest value basis, fair chance starts with source value divided by target value. A house adjustment reduces that chance or changes the liability formula. Different deposit and withdrawal valuations can reduce cash-equivalent return even when the site-credit calculation is correct.
What to compare
Record source value, target value, displayed chance, published RTP or formula, external cash prices and any settlement multiplier. Keep formula reproduction separate from fairness certification, wagering and a transaction test.
- External cash value
- Quoted item value
- Published RTP or edge
- Chance formula
- Settlement and reversal
For the CS2-specific application, use the CS2 upgrader chance and valuation comparison. It separates published rules from unresolved economics and custody facts.
Evidence boundary
This is a desk-researched comparison of published rules and official support material. It is not a deposit, wager, KYC or withdrawal test, and an unknown country remains unknown.
